College of Physiotherapists of Ontario pilots secure on-line assessment and e-Portfolio solution for its members.

Toronto, Canada: June 10, 2009. – Today Claymore Inc. rolled out, for pilot, an on line assessment and e-Portfolio solution for the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

The new solution (a custom development of the SkilSure solution) will allow Physiotherapists in Ontario to go securely, on-line to complete a mandatory Professional Issues Self Assessment (PISA) comprising a variety of question types designed to challenge Physiotherapists professional knowledge. The feedback from PISA and the on line Skills for learning questionnaire will help registered Physiotherapist develop professional Learning Plans. The solution will be used by Physiotherapists to maintain a historical record of learning plans and the outcomes of learning activities.

About the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is the registering and regulating body for physiotherapy. The College regulates the profession under the authority of the Regulated Health Professions Act, and the Physiotherapy Act so that the College may serve and protect the public interest in Ontario.
