The SkilSure® QCF/NVQ e-portfolio solution has been rigorously evaluated by City & Guilds and has been endorsed by them. It is compatible with their QCF/NVQ process and quality requirements.

The SkilSure® has been evaluated against Edexcel’s standards and has been found to meet them. SkilSure® is an Edexcel approved e-portfolio.

QCF (Qualifications Credit Framework) is a new framework to replace the National Qualification Framework (NQF). It recognises achievement through award of credit for units and qualifications and provides flexible routes to qualifications that can be achieved by people at their own pace along flexible routes. It will be implemented across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Current information indicates the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) will be introduced alongside the familiar NVQs from October 2009 until December 2010.

From January 2011 all accredited vocational qualifications are planned to be on the Qualifications Credit Framework and the familiar NVQs will close down.
