Skillsmart Retail Selects SkilSure Limited as Development Partner
London, UK. March 22, 2007 – SkilSure Limited is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a development partner by Skillsmart Retail, further enhancing a working relationship that was begun in March 2005.
SkilSure Limited worked with Skillsmart Retail to develop a Skills Map solution which simplifies skills management for members of the retail sector. The Skills map is a user-friendly, solution accessible from the SkillSmart Retail™ Web site which allows users to view a colour-coded, graphical representation of the skills (Retail, Professional and Essential) and development required in their sector. The Skills map has been on-line since July 2005.
Using the Skills Map, users are able to view job role descriptions and required competences with the applicable national standards and qualifications.
Further development of the Skills Map solution has allowed the creation and downloading of custom job profiles including a qualification calculator function. Employers and training providers will soon be able to use the Skills Map solution to create custom job profiles, assess and monitor their qualification value against retail national standards, and download custom profiles to their desktop.
Skillsmart is committed to future development of the Skills Map solutions and to their integration with other on line solutions.
