SkilSure Ltd. to develop Skillsmart Retail™ Skills Map, Powered by SkilSure®
LONDON, England. March 17, 2005 – SkilSure Limited, developers of the SkilSure® application, are pleased to announce the development of a Web-based, sector Skills Map based on SkilSure® technology for Skillsmart Retail™. The initial Skills Map pilot focuses on Store Operations, the largest area within retail, and represents the first tier in an ambitious multi-tiered approach to mapping retail skills. In addition to the development of the Skills Map, SkilSure Ltd. will also provide secure hosting services and a robust connection to the SkilSure® database.
Sector Skills Map
SkilSure Limited’s sector Skills Map will simplify skills management for members of the retail sector through a user-friendly, Web-based solution. Users will log in to the Skills Map directly via the SkillSmart Retail™ Web site and access a colour-coded, graphical representation of the skills (Retail, Professional and Essential) and development required in their sector. Using the Skills Map, users will be able to view job role descriptions and required competences with the applicable national standards and qualifications.
