Job Knowledge and Unit Tests integrated with SkilSureŽ e-portfolio solution.
London, UK. April 2, 2008. – This week Claymore Inc. rolled out to British Gas a customized e-portfolio solution to address the specific requirements of the Domestic Energy Assessor VRQ.
The VRQ solution is a short cycle, lean version of SkilSure's City and Guilds approved NVQ e-portfolio solution. Customization includes a simplified planning function and the development of interfaces that exactly match the hard copy Assessment record forms that are currently being used by British Gas Assessors to track candidate progress.
The solution provides British Gas with capability for on-line assessment of candidates' site work, as well as real time monitoring of candidates' progress.
The qualification is being awarded to the engineering workforce in order for them to carry out energy assessments of domestic dwellings and provide recommendations on what can be done to improve the overall energy efficiency of the property. This forms part of the long term British Gas strategy in providing the best energy saving information to its customers.
